Exam Fee Increases Announced
The International Conference of Funeral Service Examining Boards (The Conference) has announced examination fee increases that become effective January 1, 2014. The information relating to the fee changes can be found at http://www.theconferenceonline.org/

David E.Quernheim, father of MFDEA member Michael Quernheim, passed away on Sunday, May 26, 2013 at the age of 83. Mr. Quernheim was the owner of Quernheim Funeral Home in Waterloo, IL and a US Air Force Korean War Veteran.
Mr. Quernheim is survived by his wife of 58 years, Wanda Querheim (nee Vogt); children Michael (Jane) Querheim, Lisa (Charles) Fuszner; grandchildren Douglas (Nancy) Quernheim, Patrick and Rebecca Quernheim (fiancee Ethan Belanger), Katherine, John & James Fuszner, Hannah & Jacob Quernheim; sister Margaret “Mitzie Frederick; sisters and brothers-in-law Sharon Quernheim, Clarence “Buddy” & Susan Vogt, John & Robert A. Hoffmann; and nieces, nephews & cousins.
Mr. Quernheim was preceded in death by his parents Emil W. and Hulda K. (nee Hartman) Quernheim; sister Dorothy K. “Pat” Voris, brother PLaul A. Quernheim, brother-in-law Robert H. Voris and Dr. Raymond Frederick.
Visitation will be held at the Quernheim Funeral Home on Wednesday, May 29, 2013 from 2:00 pm to 8:00 pm. Funeral services will be Thursday, May 30, 2013 at 10:00 am Quernheim Funeral Home.

Requirements and Qualifications
Prior customer service experience and a minimum of five years experience as a Funeral Arranger.
Must have or be able to obtain a Missouri Funeral Director License.

Must be available every other weekend and some holidays and evenings
Must have a good driving record and have or be able to obtain a class E license
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to; making funeral arrangements with families, preparing visitation rooms and directing funeral services; general clerical duties such as answering phones, printing, faxing, scheduling, multi-line phone, knowledge of Microsoft Office, Word, Windows, Excel, PowerPoint and Internet.
